                                                                                                                                   Preface

What kind of explosions have you had in the past? What kind do you currently have? What kind are you likely to have in your life because of your past?   This book will show you how to identify the catastrophes of the past, stop current problems and learn how to strengthen your family to be able to minimize the explosions that generally occur in life.

Let's take a look at the following definition of “explosions”

            Explosions – noun

            1. A violent and destructive shattering or blowing apart of something…
            2. A violent expansion in which energy is transmitted outward as a shock wave.1

Just think about these descriptive words and relate them to the explosions in your own life. The “destructive shattering” of lives through divorce, death, disease or the “blowing apart” of families or occupations which may compromise a promising future.

However, YOU can be the “energy…transmitted outward as a shock wave”, but in a good way. This book will show you how YOU can be the agent of change for your family by setting a great example.

Children do not come into the world with an owner’s manual.  Parenting is a “trial and error” task from start to finish. You think you have it all figured out after a couple of years with the first child and then another child comes along with a completely opposite personality. Don’t beat yourself up. Most of us do the best we know how to do.

                                                                                                      Skills and Benefits:

  • Skill: How to identify what the damage looks like from different explosions your family has previously experienced...
Benefit: then the family learns and grows from past experiences.

  • Skill: How to let go of the negativity and allow healing from the past...
Benefit: so dysfunction is not handed down to future generations.

  • Skill: How to recognize negative events in your life...
Benefit:  and understanding how the trials can actually help your
family be stronger than ever before.

  • Skill: How to feel empowered with beneficial tools...
Benefit:  which will help to clean up the emotional mess left behind.

  • Skill: How to ensure a sound, secure foundation...
Benefit:  which will help everyone in the family rebuild an even
            stronger home.

One of the biggest benefits to this book –   It is a “one stop shop”.

This book will enable you to use several proven techniques by well-known authors, helping your children become the best they can be.

                                                                                                      You will learn:

 1. How to let go of the stress of parenting by helping your children become responsible and accountable for their own actions.

 2.   How to watch for opportunities to praise your children.

 3.   How to reprimand your children appropriately.

 4.   How to identify the love language you, your spouse and your children speak, thus enabling family members to give love the way others recognize love.

5.   How to hold your children accountable without contention by being empathetic.

MOST IMPORTANTLY - As a parent you will learn how to look for and encourage the best character traits in your children so they can become their own best selves.
