BELOW ARE SOME BEHAVIORS THAT CAN DAMAGE THE MEMORY / BRAIN
Years ago, when asking an audiologist (hearing doctor) if not have my hearing corrected could cause harm to my brain, or memory. His response was, "Well, you can't remember what you don't hear!" Since that time, he and I both have learned that not correcting hearing problem can harm the brain.
My ears have been damaged due to years and years of helping to remodel and/or build our house(s) and NOT wearing ear protection. I remember hammering and it hurt my ears, then noticed my ears were ringing shortly after. I knew I had likely damaged my ears. I believe the importance of ear protection. It's just too easy not to do and well worth avoiding problems down the road. Correcting hearing when needed can help to avoid Dementia.
