"The Power of Chocolate" book suggests using 100% cocoa and believe it or not, it doesn't take very much honey to sweeten it. I LOVE dark chocolate so the first time I made it, I filled a wide mouth pint jar, three-fourth full of cocoa powder because I wanted to have enough room to stir it so I only put a couple of tablespoons of honey in it. I was amazed how sweet it was. The best part is that both ingredients provide so many good health benefits. I have no guilt taking two tablespoons a day. They actually recommend taking three tablespoon per day. It seems like a lot to me so I take my first spoonful around noon and the second one at bedtime. It certainly satisfies the sweet tooth! NOTE: Before I learned about this mixture, I learned that a couple of teaspoons of honey was excellent in helping me to go to sleep. It was like a miracle! So, now I take one tablespoon of the cocoa and honey mixture mid morning and the second one in the afternoon. I go right to sleep now. The health benefits of cocoa and honey are off the chart! The best part is that I have no guilt!!! YEA!!!
